Proposal: The
Back to School Giveback 2014
Project
Information:
We have identified the
Marotola Primary School in Stinkwater, Hammanskraal about 58 km from the heart
of Pretoria. There are 1000 pupils
between the ages of 6 and 14 that attend this school. The community is rural with a very high
unemployment rate. This school
definitely has the right heart with a hands on principal and teaching staff
that manages and drive a lunch time feeding scheme and vegetable garden.
On Friday 17 January 2014 at 15:00 pm we will be hosting an after
school event whereby we supply the kids with their new stationary packs and
school equipment. The aim is to host a
fun day for the children to kick off the new school year on a positive note.
Our
Vision:
To make the first week back
to school in 2014 for the pupils exciting, inspiring, positive and of course
fun. We are planning on supplying every
pupil a full set of stationary that would include- 2 blue point pens, pencils,
eraser, scissors, ruler, colour pencils and for the older grades highlighters
and notepads.
Addition to this we would
like to donate to the school educational and sports equipment for example
soccer balls, play dough, tennis balls, children’s books.
What
we need:

Funding: We require a minimum of R 50 000 to buy 1000 stationary packs for the school.
The
price of one stationary pack is R 50 and there are 1000 children attending the
school.
Any
financial donation will be appreciated.

Sponsorship: Educational equipment: soccer balls, books, play dough.
·
Refreshments: Chips, Cool drinks, Ice Cream, sweets, water.
Entertainment: Any type of entertainment on the day, music,
faces painting any fun activities.
